Physical Therapy Aide

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Assist physical therapists with patient equipment/therapeutic modality set ups and take downs.
- Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment and supplies.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks as directed by the therapist.
- Assist with flow of patient care within the clinic and among the physical therapy team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Uphold medical terminology standards to ensure clear communication within the healthcare environment.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus, enhancing communication with the healthcare team.
