Job Summary: Sets, maintains and cleans ballrooms, meeting rooms and public areas as required by client and specified on a banquet event contract. Restocks and replenishes food services supplies, assists banquet service staff, clears, cleans and resents conference space.

Job Duties:

- maintains superior standards of quality, service and cleanliness in the conference, meeting space and storage areas;
- sets conference space as required by client including but not limited to tables, chairs, dance floors, portable bars, buffets;
- sets tables with quality china, glass, silver and following all details of event order,
- ensures high standards by following service standards of department,
- exceeds client expectations by anticipating service needs,
- ensures creativity of buffets and day-to-day client needs,
- ensures a safe work environment by following all work practices,
- adheres to all hotel safety and security policies and procedures as outline by hotel standards, federal, provincial and local laws,
- consistently maintains a neat, organized and clean work space,
- demonstrates a commitment to provide the best possible experience for guests, ensuring superior personalized service,
- performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- strong communication, organization and problem solving skills,
- ability to project a professional, friendly and courteous image to clients and guests,
- ability to multi-task, and be detail oriented,
- ability to work well under pressure in a faced paced environment,
- ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
