Banquet Porter

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Porter/Server/Bartender to join our team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. **Duties**:
Porter/Server/bartender:

- Set Banquet rooms for Meetings, Weddings, trade shows etc.
- Set up buffets and beverage stations
- Assist in serving food and beverage during banquets
- Gratuities additional for banquet rooms and food and beverage service.
- Bartending events and interacting with guests

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of service techniques and banquets is an asset - Familiarity with various types of alcoholic beverages and their ingredients
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized recommendations
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately

**Skills**:

- Food handling knowledge to ensure proper food safety practices are followed
- Restaurant experience to understand the flow of operations in a dining establishment
- Bartending skills to create delicious cocktails and drinks for guests
- Food service expertise to assist with coordinating food for banquet customers
- Guest services orientation to provide exceptional service and exceed customer expectations
- Customer service mindset to address any concerns or issues raised by guests promptly
- Ability to work well within a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from various departments
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and understanding of the food industry
- Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for guests

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
