Sharp Trucking Services Ltd. is hiring a **Fleet Manager **for our head office location in Edmonton, AB.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Maintain fleet and equipment management including purchasing, scheduling, tracking, maintenance, and repairs
- Promote safety awareness by following policies and procedures on quality, health, safety, and environmental
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Ensure transport compliance with regulations
- Monitor fuel consumption and tire inventory
- Experience with vendor management for a shop with multiple suppliers
- Experience managing on the road break downs and managing 3rd party service vendors
- Experience managing a secondary facility with equipment and mechanics off site
- Occasional travel may be required to meet business needs

**Qualifications**
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Fleet Manager
- Must have Heavy Duty Mechanic Technician Certificate
- Strong leadership/mentorship experience or aptitude to lead a team
- Familiar with computer programs/Teams/Axon/Excel/Word/Outlook
- Shop Foreman experience would be ideal
- Ability to calmly deal with drivers on road issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make sound decisions
- Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
- Flexible with time and able to answer calls after hours
- Have a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean Abstract
