Emerald Retirement Residence is a private retirement residence in Niagara Falls. **We are currently seeking for Personal Support Workers for Part-time position starting immediately.**

Some of the important duties and responsibilities are:

- Working with elderly patients and providing one-on-one care such as assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Ensuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs as instructed in the client’s support plans
- Helping clients with leisure activities
- Ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and independence of clients
- Assisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of a client
- Documenting and recording daily care reports which may include resident incident reports, restraint monitoring, and medication administration.
- Ensure the room are clean and free from hazards.
- Ability to perform client transfers
- Must speak English
- Ability to use computer program

**Requirements**:
1. **Current PSW certification** and Food Handling Certificate, First Aid/CPR Level 2

2. Valid Police Check for vulnerable sector

3. TB Test

4. Minimum of 01 year experience

5. Proof of double vaccination

6. 2 references

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
