Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Assist clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals for clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Accompany individuals to appointments or outings as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or academic diploma in the field is required
- Knowledge of best practices in residential care and support services
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of varying needs and backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate and patient demeanour when working with clients of aggravated nature

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (preferred)
- UMAB/NVCI (preferred)
- Diploma in related field from a reputed institution (preferred)

Work Location: In person
