**Job Summary**
Seeking a professional event manager/cruise director for one of Toronto’s premier yachts to manage and oversee event staff as we host events such as weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.

The individual will be responsible for coordination of events on two yachts; overseeing up to 20 staff; following professional hospitality guidelines; food and beverage service; coordination of after cruise procedures including clean up and closing procedures; and liaising with guest in a courteous and professional manner and exceeding all expectations.

**Job Type / Category**
We are a full-service venue and hold a liquor license. We host a variety of chartered events for up to 300 passengers which include food and beverage, décor and entertainment. Our cruises average 4 to 6 hours in length. Can expect 24 to 45 hours a week. Pay is hourly plus gratuities. Regular shifts are between 4 and 10 hours in length depending on the event. We run every day of the week. Must be able to work weekdays, and weekends.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
Smart Serve certification. A hospitality degree is a plus. Great customer service skills. An energetic, friendly person with a cool head. Strong math skills. Strong command of the English language. Strong work ethic: must be able to work days, night, and weekends. First Aid, food handling and bar experience an asset.
