Experienced Concrete Saw Operator/cutter Needed

Seeking experienced concrete slab saw, wall saw and core drill operator. Must be willing to work some nights and weekends.

**Job Description**:

- Operate a variety of concrete-cutting equipment in commercial/residential environments
- Must be experienced in using slab saws, both diesel, electric and gas powered, ring & chain saws - to be used in both concrete and asphalt
- Individual will be responsible for loading, unloading, lifting heavy weight materials, assisting when needed.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, there will be long days and some weekends
- Maintain cleanliness on jobsites and work vehicles
- Dust control and mitigation of hazards
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), First Aid Certificate, other Safety Courses would be an asset.
- Familiar with job site safety practices
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment
- Be able to work independently or with a team on both interior and exterior sites
- Cleanup and disposal of concrete slurry and waste

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2+ years experience in concrete cutting and core drilling
- Strong knowledge of equipment, safety procedures, and hazard assessments
- Perform site assessments and review scope of work with clients or supervisors
- Familiarity with GPR scanning is a strong asset
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Physical requirement:

- Lift/carry up to 75 pounds or more
- Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy
- Physical ability to squat, turn, bend, climb, and reach overhead

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid DZ or AZ License with clean Driver’s Abstract and own reliable transportation
- Good communication and written skills

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
