The Payroll Administrator II is responsible for all payroll related processing including statutory tax filings and associated general ledger entries. This position analyzes and resolves discrepancies, and ensures that internal payroll policies and procedures are consistently followed.
**Bilingual Requirement: Must be fluent in French Canadian and English**

**Responsibilities**:
- Accurately process multi-state payroll in compliance with wage and hour laws and meeting company deadlines
- Reconcile and analyze payments for payroll tax withholdings, retirement plan contributions, garnishments, and all other withholdings ensuring that statutory due dates are met
- Prepare payroll journal entries and provide support to Accounting on payroll account reconciliations
- Audit HRIS interface data from HR status updates for increases, new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, benefit changes, address changes, and title and department changes
- Maintain accurate and timely employee payroll data including attendance and vacation records
- Process all non-cash compensation transactions including stock options, employee awards, relocations and other programs
- Register and maintain tax agency accounts
- Prepare and process year end wage tax information
- Execute and maintain all court-ordered withholdings
- Create ad hoc reports upon request
- Document and update all payroll procedures as needed
- Maintain proper payroll records to support internal and external audits
- Keep current on all payroll-related laws, policies and regulations through on-line and written resources, and attending payroll seminars as needed
- Provide support participate iall payroll system upgrades and integration projects as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll records

**Responsabilités**:
- Traite avec exactitude la paie pour plusieurs provinces en conformité avec les lois relatives aux salaires et aux heures de travail, tout en respectant les échéances de l’entreprise.
- Rapproche et analyse les paiements en ce qui a trait aux retenues fiscales salariales, aux contributions aux régimes de retraite, aux saisies sur salaire et à toutes les autres retenues en s’assurant que les dates d’échéance prévues par la loi sont respectées.
- Prépare les entrées du journal de paie et aide le service de la comptabilité à rapprocher les comptes de paie.
- Vérifie les données de l’interface du logiciel de gestion du personnel provenant des mises à jour du statut des RH pour les augmentations, les nouveaux employés, les cessations d’emploi, les congés sans solde, les modifications aux avantages sociaux, les changements d’adresse et les changements de titre et de service.
- Conserve des données exactes et ponctuelles sur la paie des employés, y compris des relevés de présence et de vacances.
- Traite toutes les transactions de compensation non pécuniaire, y compris les options d’achat d’actions, les récompenses, les déménagements et les autres programmes.
- Enregistre et tient les comptes des agences du revenu.
- Prépare et traite les informations fiscales salariales de fin d’année.
- Exécute et respecte toutes les retenues ordonnées par un tribunal.
