_**Willsëns Architectural Millwork**_ is now hiring

**Shift**: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM (Friday)

**Location**: Aurora, ON

**Positions**:Cabinet Maker (Advanced Level)

**Responsibilities Include** _(Not limited too):_
- Operating woodworking machinery and using tools to cut, shape and form wood
- Use of hand tools, power tools, saws, etc.
- Read/Understand detailed architectural drawings, shop drawings and blue prints
- Cleaning duties/Keeping workstation and shop clean
- Lifting pieces of wood onto machines/and or working tables
- Packaging finished products to ship out for delivery
- Always inspecting product to ensure wood isn’t warped, cracked or swollen
- Sand products using sander or sandpaper
- Verify dimensions using a caliper or ruler
- Complete all stages of woodworking process
- Other general tasks as requested

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Cabinet making experience is a must for cabinet makers (certified would be an asset)
- Millwork background (Asset)
- Strong English communication (verbal and written)
- High attention to detail
- Strong mathematics skills
- Must have CSA steel toe boots
- Manufacturing experience (asset)
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Comfortable lifting up to min 50 lbs
- Excellent attendance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work approximately 40 hours (over-time may be required during busy periods)
- Comfortable working in loud/dusty environments (sawdust)
- Excellent attitude
- Can work well under pressure to hit deadlines
- Displays a high level of leadership and teamwork

- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
- Woodworking: 5 years (preferred)
- Cabinet Making: 5 years (preferred)
