We are seeking a Full-time reliable candidate with experience in the woodworking industry who is looking for a long-term permanent position. If you are someone who values teamwork, has great communication, and is passionate about woodworking, then Willsëns could be the workplace for you

Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM (Friday)

Location: Aurora, ON

Position: Cabinet Maker (Advanced Level)

Responsibilities Include (Not limited too):

· Operating woodworking machinery and using tools to cut, shape and form wood

· Use of hand tools, power tools, saws, etc.

· Sanding wooden surfaces and applying veneer, stain or polish to finished products

· Read/Understand detailed architectural drawings, shop drawings and blue prints

· Cleaning duties/Keeping workstation and shop clean

· Lifting pieces of wood onto machines/and or working tables

· Packaging finished products to ship out for delivery

· Always inspecting product to ensure wood isn't warped, cracked or swollen

· Sand products using sander or sandpaper

· Verify dimensions using a caliper or ruler

· Complete all stages of woodworking process

· Other general tasks as requested

Qualifications and Experience:

· Cabinet making experience is a must for cabinet makers (certified would be an asset)

· Millwork background (Asset)

· Strong English communication (verbal and written)

· High attention to detail

· Strong mathematics skills

· Must have CSA steel toe boots

· Manufacturing experience (asset)

· Comfortable standing for long periods of time

· Comfortable lifting up to min 50 lbs

· Excellent attendance

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must be able to work approximately 40 hours (over-time may be required during busy periods)

· Comfortable working in loud/dusty environments (sawdust)

· Excellent attitude

· Can work well under pressure to hit deadlines

· Displays a high level of leadership and teamwork
