Product Development Project Manager

Role Summary
As the Product Development Project Manager, you are responsible for planning and executing Eminence product launches and non-launch product related projects. You will manage the Product Development launch process from idea to production, as well as other processes related to product and will help the Product Development Team stay on track and resource appropriately. You will collaborate cross-functionally with many teams throughout the organization to outline and execute on project deliverables and ensure that project milestones are met. You will report directly to the Director of Product Development.
**Responsibilities**:
Develop and manage Product Development Project Plans and Critical Paths for product launches and promotions
Collaborate with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, Marketing, Digital, Customer Education, and Sales to ensure that milestones for the project are met
Champion project management best practices, process improvements and workflow efficiencies
Utilize Project Management Software to track information and tasks and share with the team
Develop and manage Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library, ensuring that key processes are documented and kept up-to-date, and that Team-members are aware of best practice
Lead bi-weekly meetings with Product Development, Supply Chain and Marketing to review tasks related to on-going projects
Support the Senior Product Development Manager and Director of Product Development with resourcing information and monthly view on resource needs
Share upcoming weekly deadlines and action items to ensure that Team-members are prepared and execute deliverables
Schedule, host and attend key project status meetings to keep projects on track as needed
Act as first point of contact in Product Development for Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Education as it relates to project scope and timing
Conduct feedback sessions to gather input on ways of working, and make recommendations on improved processes
Manage projects on existing products (changes to formula or packaging) and projects related to product quality challenges
**Qualifications**:
Project Management experience, including process development, implementation, and evaluation (3-5 years)
Project Management software experience (e.g. Asana, Microsoft Project, Excel) (2-3 years)
Experience in New Product Development in Beauty, Health or Consumer Packaged Goods sectors (1-2 years)
Cross-Functional team leadership experience, e.g. Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing (1-2 years preferred)
College diploma or degree in Business and/or Marketing, Supply Chain or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is an asset
Experience in rolling-out new PM software, including training the team, is an asset
Experience in the Spa industry is an asset
