One of our flagship projects is the master plan for a 23‑acre development in Port Moody, featuring approximately 2,000 new homes and 466 rental units, exemplifying our commitment to vibrant, integrated communities.The RoleAs Project Manager, you will manage a new residential project in Langley, BC, and assist in the management of other EDGAR developments. EDGAR utilizes external General Contractors; this role is an owner’s representative project management position. You will oversee management, administration, and technical direction to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide accurate construction cost data and estimates for new and existing projectsAttend team meetings during design and pre‑construction to keep the project within scope and budgetApply ‘value engineering’ while meeting EDGAR’s architectural standardsOversee tendering and award of general contractor, sub‑trade, and/or supplier contractsEngage and supervise consultant teamsReview tenant leases and act as the tenant liaison during constructionManage day‑to‑day construction operations and monitor on‑site progressTrack, maintain, and report on project design, budget, and scheduleDeliver projects on time and under budgetMaintain professional relationships with contractors, trades, consultants, and suppliersStay informed about EDGAR’s market presence, industry trends, and competitorsSupport the Vice President, Construction and Project Director, including acquisitions and development assistanceQualificationsMinimum five (5) years of senior coordinator/project management experience in residential and commercial construction (wood frame experience preferred)Post‑secondary education in Engineering, Construction/Project Management, or equivalentExtensive knowledge of construction methods and industry practicesStrong negotiation skillsHighly organized with meticulous attention to detailProactive, self‑starter, and problem‑solving mindsetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to thrive in a collaborative, small‑office environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) and project management softwareBenefits and CompensationThe successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary, a benefits plan including a bonus, and work out of a well‑appointed office in downtown Vancouver on an expanding portfolio of large‑scale developments.Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionProject Management and Information TechnologyLocationBased in downtown Vancouver, BC.
