**RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Check grades and read plans
- Knowledgeable of using a variety of hand tools and ability to cut pipe of various material
- Read grade stakes and have the ability to set up laser
- Strong knowledge of pipelaying techniques directly related to sewer and water - Watermain, Sanitary and Storm.
- Working knowledge of pipe and fittings utilized in sewer and water main work.
- Ability to work with others and take direction from the foreman on site
- Help locate and expose underground utilities by hand
- Ability to complete work efficiently and correctly with mínimal supervision
- Work in a safe manner to ensure safety of self and co-workers
- Not only limited to above

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3-5 years of experience working as a pipelayer
- Valid driver’s license with own transportation is required
- Health and Safety training/Knowledge (Confined Space, trenching and excavation, First Aid/CPR an asset)
- Ability to work in all different types of weather conditions
- Potential for weekend work and working nights as needed
- Hoisting & Rigging Training
