Communications Manager

**Job Description**:
Essential Details and Responsibilities
- Works closely with key leaders and internal partners across the company to optimize communications for stores (corporate & franchised), head office and warehouse.
- Proactively leads multiple communications projects simultaneously.
- Develops and executes new and creative communications strategies that build engagement, create awareness, and deliver employee/store/franchisee satisfaction.
- Oversees and develops content for communication vehicles (digital workspace, task management tool, OneDrive)
- Involved in daily review of store communications with the Communications Specialist to validate factually accuracy and brand alignment of the content being received and processed.
- Develops and ensures compliance of communication standards and processes.
- Creates consistency in communication and communication policies across all company banners.
- Supports the Company Events team by driving the planning and execution of communications for the Annual Store conference, townhalls and other events as required.
- Provides advisory and editorial support to the Executive Leadership team with select internal communication items. e.g. - CEO Announcements etc.
- Other duties as assigned to support the Store Operations team.
Experience, Education, Certifications
- BA/BS required; Master’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of communication, marketing, public relations experience
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills
- Knowledge of intranet management an asset
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Proficient in MS office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) are essential
