**Salary**: $145,000-165,000

Actual compensation within the range will be based on experience

**What You’ll Do**

The Head of Frames and Store Proposition provides support to the Product Proposition Director in the planning and execution of the CA frame range and store experience (POS, Merchandising) strategies. They will define and manage the frame range, and monitor its performance, maximizing sales and margins. Enhancing staff and customer perceptions of the range is also a key part of the remit of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Product Portfolio Management
- Effective range management performance support
- Development of frame strategy to ensure alignment of range with business needs and Marketing strategy.
- Planning and implementation of product launches (store engagement) and discontinuations (obsolescence risks).
- Ensure quality of the Product is consistent and exceeds stores’ expectations.
- Ensure adequate training and support to stores is provided, engaging with the Retail teams.

Store environment
- Work with Marketing and Retail teams to ensure coordinated development of product merchandising and POS materials.
- Define and deliver a cohesive Merchandising strategy that leads to the optimization of product mix.

Product Communications & Marketing
- Collaborate in defining the Product Comms strategy and deliver to the highest standard.
- Liaise with Marketing/PR to ensure consistent and credible communications are issued to external stakeholders (mainly Marketing and PR campaigns).
- Maximise store staff members’ engagement. Build pride on the products we sell.

Data Analysis and Reporting
- Support the Product Proposition Director and the wider team in the timely & effective analysis of sales. Create better understanding of the link between effective Range Development, Merchandising, POS and influencing the Product mix/sales.
- Act as the “customer champion” in the development of the frame range, using factual and anecdotal evidence to evolve the range and its architecture.
- Engage with stores/partners/user group members to maximize their input on their range.

**What We’re Looking For**

Essential
- 10 years’ experience in multi-site Retail Product roles.
- Customer focused and highly organized: genuinely enjoys engaging with different interlocutors at all levels.
- Demonstrated capacity to determine priorities, meet strict deadlines and effectively balance competing demands and the ability to work under pressure both independently and as a member of a team. Great attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present reports and documentation of high quality and integrity and the capacity to deal with a wide range of clients and staff.
- Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgment, initiative, diplomacy, tact and discretion and proven ability to handle information, and materials in a confidential and appropriate manner.
- Ability to work cross functionally and build strong professional relationships with local and global teams, internal and external.

Nice to Have
- Retail experience within an Optical/Healthcare environment.
- Able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering innovative Product and Merchandising solutions in a retail environment.
