**PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Lead, organize, plan and execute the new product development process from A-Z along with critical stakeholders and in-house design
- Plan new product development for the category and increase profitability of product line.
- Plans and presents new product at weekly product confirmation meetings, ensuring product is up-to-date with features, design, and collateral.
- Recommend line extensions and new product concepts to grow category in small appliances.
- Conduct competitive and benchmarking analysis by monitoring global marketplace for new product innovations and lifestyle trends
- Transforms product details into features and benefits.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing to ensure F&B’s in line with the market and subsequent brand materials/videos/materials are relevant and pertinent for sales and product features
- Finds the WHY for our product and explains it in sales documents.
- Clearly understands and writes packaging features and benefits and presents final packaging to Director for confirmation, and involved with packaging style and brand guidelines
- Negotiates with current factory base to increase profitability of major SKUs.
- Manages relationships with key vendor base - stays in constant communications with
- factories.
- Supports the selling process and help manage coordination of key retailor accounts, ensuring the sales team has the most relevant materials and data
- Maintain launch charts, presentations, and production timelines
- Helps coordinate competitive sample needs
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- 4-6 years experience in the consumer goods industry with shopper/retail marketing experience a plus
- Creative and autonomous, able to multi-task
- Open-minded, solution-focused, and nimble with a proven ability to respond positively to change
- Able to master MS Office (Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or any other equivalent degree.
