**Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Educate students at the high school level English.
- Educate students at the elementary level Math.
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student learning objectives.
- Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure comprehension.
- Create engaging educational materials that enhance the learning experience.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment to boost student confidence and motivation.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching children is mandatory.
- Strong command of the English language; proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, French, Japanese, or Mandarin is a plus.
- Should be strong in basic computer skills.
- Ability to teach elementary level Math is a plus.
- Ability to write clear and effective instructional materials.
- Familiarity with classroom dynamics and educational best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for education are essential traits for success in this role.
- A degree in education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $17.50-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
