**Payroll, Benefits and Reporting Administrator**:
JIAS Toronto is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to helping immigrants with resettlement in the Greater Toronto Area. JIAS Toronto assists lawfully admitted immigrants and refugees in meeting basic financial, social, legal, and other requirements of immigration. We work to advance the well-being and social integration of newcomers by providing a full range of outreach, support, counseling, training, and referral resources.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Process and transmit **semi-monthly payroll** using **ADP Workforce Now**, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain and update payroll records, including journal entries, coding, and deductions.
- Prepare and submit **government remittances**, including **T4s, T4As, WSIB, and EHT**.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Administer the agency’s **group benefits plan**, including **medical, dental, disability, and HCSA**.
- Act as the primary liaison with benefits providers, ensuring accurate enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Reconcile benefits and pension contributions and process updates within **HRIS systems**.
- Extract and analyze **payroll and benefits data** for **government grants and funders**.
- Ensure accurate and compliant reporting, collaborating with the **Finance Manager**.
- Provide year-end payroll reconciliations and reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of payroll processing and benefits administration experience.
Working towards Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll/HRIS software.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll tax laws and compliance regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
