Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees and visitors on our construction sites. This is a critical role in our organization, as safety is our top priority.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Provide training to employees on safety procedures and protocols
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences
- Collaborate with project managers to develop site-specific safety plans
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety awareness
- Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents, training, inspections, and audits
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in construction safety
**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards
- Ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using construction management software for tracking safety data and generating reports
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
