**Job Summary**:
The Strategic Partnerships and Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of CDV’s startup portfolio by fostering strategic relationships and building CDV’s brand presence, both within Compass Group and externally. This individual will be responsible for engaging Compass Group's Business Units (BUs), promoting CDV’s initiatives, and creating a competitive edge through innovation. The role combines elements of partnership management, strategic marketing, and event coordination to position CDV as a critical resource within Compass Group and the foodservice industry.

**Now, if you were to come on board as our Strategic Partnerships Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us**:

- Engage Business Units: Increase BU awareness of CDV, promoting CDV as a key innovation partner.
- Build Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate connections with key BU stakeholders, fostering advocacy for CDV’s initiatives.
- Quarterly Stakeholder Meetings: Host regular sessions to showcase CDV’s initiatives and align on innovation goals.
- Streamline Portfolio Integration: Connect CDV portfolio companies with BUs, supporting pilot programs for scalable implementation.
- Strengthen CDV Brand: Position CDV as a leading innovator within Compass and the market through targeted branding.
- Public Relations Strategy: Boost CDV’s visibility with a PR strategy that highlights Compass’s innovation leadership.
- Track Success Metrics: Measure engagement, brand impact, and pilot outcomes to ensure CDV’s strategic alignment and improvement.

- Background: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Innovation, or a related field. Experience in partnerships, marketing, or business development is preferred.
- Strategic and Analytical: Strong business acumen with an understanding of partnership management, able to identify strategic alignment opportunities across diverse business units.
- Relationship-Driven: Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and networks across departments and externally.
- Marketing and Branding Savvy: Experience in brand building and PR strategy, with the ability to craft messages that resonate with different audiences.
- Event Planning Skills: Organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of successfully planning and managing events that align with strategic goals.
- Outcome-Oriented: Able to define and measure success metrics for partnership and marketing initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
