**YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE**:
Reporting to the Energy & Infrastructure Superintendent, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure the efficiency of the department and that necessary improvements are made. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Coordinate activities of the following surface and underground teams on site:

- Mobile & Fixed Plant Maintenance
- Site Services (Camp maintenance, potable water and sewage treatment, road & airstrip maintenance and heavy equipment operations)
- Electrical and Instrumentation
- Ensure that the maintenance teams work efficiently with all resources at their disposal;
- Provide specific training and developmental opportunities for immediate employees;
- Ensure that equipment availability meets or exceeds all production requirements by ensuring that all fleets are maintained in a safe, efficient and effective manner on their shift;
- Participate in the elaboration and operationalization of the maintenance strategic plan;
- Coach and mentor subordinates in regard to employee relations, safety, environmental, productivity and cost issues;
- Oversee investigations involving safety incidents, accidents and near-misses;
- Participate in the elaboration of the budget and ensure it is respected;
- Ensure that reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner;
- Recommend procedures and methods to improve employee safety.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Technologist or relevant Trade certification combined with significant experience, or equivalent;
- 10 years of experience in the maintenance field, preferably in a FIFO/camp setting;
- 5 years of progressive supervisory/management responsibility;
- Experience in the mining industry in any of the following disciplines is required: surface and underground mobile maintenance, fixed plant maintenance, electrical and instrumentation, site services (camp maintenance, potable water and sewage treatment, road maintenance and heavy equipment operations);
- JDE working knowledge is considered an asset;

**Your Work Schedule**:

- Schedule: 21 days of work, followed by 21 days for transportation and rest;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
