We serve brilliant desserts that are handcrafted in store, with our own craft ice creams. We serve these creations in a restaurant setting with table service, and we have fun doing it. Oh and we've been at it for 31 years At Demetres, we don't recruit for roles, we recruit for aptitude and personality. At Demetres, we don't hire "servers" or "baristas". We hire Artisans. Artisans are our staff who are the magic that make everything work so well. When you start as an Artisan, you'll get assigned a specialization, based on what we think is the best fit. You'll either first learn to be a Dessert Crafter, a Barista, a Host, a DJ (Dish Jockey), or a Server. Your goal is to learn the position, hone your skills, and become a rockstar. Then you'll go on to learn another specialization, and then another. We really believe that having staff that know multiple roles is great for us, and great for you too - it'll keep things interesting, with variety each day. We also try to reward our staff well with a generous Tip Sharing policy, staff discounts on desserts, free hot & iced coffees and gourmet loose leaf teas when you're on shift, desserts on us on your birthday, and a Pint of Ice Cream each month.
