**Job Description**:
What you can expect in a typical day
We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivered Natural Gas Facilities Technician that ensures the safe and reliable operation of the DNG supply infrastructure through proper monitoring and maintenance of our Compression Facilities, Decompression Equipment, Tractor Trailers and associated equipment across the DNG network.

Your roles and responsibilities:
Panel Operator Duties
- Shift work is required
- Monitor the performance of all DNG Compression and Decompression sites within the DNG network from the Lincoln DNG facility.
- Address plant/facility issues promptly and escalate as required.
- Assess the severity of emergency situations and implement appropriate responses
- Oversee the proper and safe loading of all Tractor Trailers within the DNG fleet.
- Trouble-shoot plant related problems.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of DNG facilities including all compression and customer decant facilities.
- Conduct site inspections at all DNG Compression and Decompression facilities
- Perform all required preventative, routine and required maintenance on all equipment in the DNG network.
- Conduct facility and equipment checks.
- Prepare facility/equipment for maintenance and return-to-service
- Trouble-shoot plant related problems.

- Follow all DNG safe work practices, operating procedures, and emergency procedures
- Follow DNG Operating Discipline principles and practices, including all applicable policies, procedures, guidelines and best practices, as defined by Irving Oil, Delivered Natural Gas (DNG).

Travel
- Some travel through Maritimes may be required
Education and experience
- Post-Secondary Education
- Red Seal Journeyman with preference for Electrician, Pipe fitter, Millwright or Instrumentation
- Computer literacy required
- Prior industrial operations experience an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- 1-3 years of applicable operations experience
