Purplefarm Genetics is one of Canada's premier craft cannabis producers. Coming from the legacy market, Purplefarm Genetics currently operates a 12,000 sq ft facility out of Johnstown, Ontario and a 90,000 sq ft facility in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

We are looking for a Cultivation Technician. The Cultivation Technician is a key employee in performing cultivation and production tasks.

Responsibilities:

• (a) Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures for the Good Production Practices (GPP) operations at all times

(b) Train staff on standard operating procedures for the Good Production Practices (GPP) and ensure all staff follow the SOPS at all times

(c) Perform cultivation and production tasks including but not limited to irrigation/fertigation, cloning, transplanting, topping, defoliation, flushing, trimming, packaging, waste disposal and inventory management

(d) Operate irrigation system platforms (Dosatron)

(e) Support the development and/or maintain plant production protocols and nutrient regiment.

(f) Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with Health Canada and other regulatory bodies regulations

(g) Support onsite equipment troubleshooting (HVAC, Irrigation, Water treatment)

(h) Ensure that all sanitation tasks as completed as per the SOPs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment

(i) Voice concerns or reports about security

(j) Work with appropriate team members to continuously develop and improve maintenance safety standards and procedures

(k) Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution

(l) Assist with construction project management

(m) Schedule, assign and perform duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC etc

(n) Ensure preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs are conducted in a manner that does present hazards to product and are documented

(o) Maintain optimal equipment uptime

(p) Ensure that security measures are maintained, and report product loss promptly

(q) Assist with inspections and ensure records are available for expedient review

(r) Other Duties as required

Position:

• Full-time, Fredericton, N.B. facility.
• Overtime is required during peak times and to meet deadlines
