**Location**: Tim Hortons Field, Hamilton, ON
Hamilton Sports Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our game-day operations
team as a Clock Operator for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC games. This role ensures that the
scoreboard operates properly, displaying the correct time, score, and other critical information. The clock
operator works closely with league officials and CFL referees to manage all timing and scoring elements during
games.
This is a paid, per-game position.
**Essential Functions**:
- Arrive at the stadium 2 hours prior to kickoff.
- Manage all clock functions, including:
- Setting and updating the game time.
- Starting and stopping the clock as required.
- Adding points to the scoreboard.
- Displaying timeouts remaining.
- Performing additional scoreboard functions as needed.
- Communicate directly with CFL referees to ensure synchronization and accuracy of game timing.
**Qualifications**:
- Must be available for Tiger-Cats and Forge FC games.
- Experience as a clock operator is required.
- Familiarity with Daktronics scoreboard systems is an asset but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of the flow and rules of both football and soccer.
- Effective communication skills, especially when working with referees and officials.
