**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Clerk to join our team at a leading corrugated box manufacturing plant. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the production schedule, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of customer orders. You will collaborate with multiple departments to maintain an efficient production flow, resolve any scheduling conflicts, and ensure that all production requirements are met on time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Scheduling**: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders and production capacity.
- **Order Management**: Review and input customer orders into the scheduling system, ensuring accuracy in quantities, sizes, and specifications.
- **Resource Allocation**: Coordinate with supplier and inventory teams to ensure that raw materials and resources are available for production.
- **Monitoring Production**: Track production progress and make necessary adjustments to the schedule, resolving any issues such as machine breakdowns or material shortages.
- **Communication & Reporting**: Maintain clear communication with production teams and management, providing regular updates on production status and potential delays.
- **Quality Control Support**: Ensure scheduled production runs meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
- **Customer Relations**: Liaise with customer service and sales teams to address delivery concerns or delays and manage customer expectations regarding delivery timelines.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in production scheduling or a similar role in a manufacturing environment (experience in corrugated box production is a plus).
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with different departments and customers.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and production delays efficiently.
- **Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy in managing orders, schedules, and production records.

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on computers or other administrative tasks.
- Occasional walking around the production floor to ensure that operations are on track.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office environment with occasional visits to the production floor.
- Interaction with various departments, including production, inventory, sales, and customer service teams.
- Must be adaptable and flexible to handle last-minute schedule changes and requests.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $42,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
