Overview:
- Conduct patient assessments and record detailed medical histories
- Perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with supervising physicians
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Assist in minor surgical procedures and other medical treatments, like injections and pap test
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilize medical terminology proficiently to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Familiarity electronic health record systems (Oscar) is asset.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong clinical and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Canadian experience is an asset
