**Financial Analyst (Permanent, Full-time)**

**Location**: Peterborough, ON

**Work Arrangement**: Hybrid; Combination on-site & remote

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

**Rate of Pay**: Dependent on Experience

**Position Description**:
As a Financial Analyst, you will provide accurate and excellent member service to members, non-members and your co-workers. Specific responsibilities will include:

- Prepare regular financial reports, management reports, risk reports, and other reports as requested.
- Develop and maintain analytical reports to provide detailed explanations of variances to plan.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of automated processes to produce the required reports and the annual budget.
- On an ongoing basis assess and improve accounting processes paying particular attention to financial and management controls.
- Conduct research and analysis as required to support management activities and complete assigned account reconciliations.
- Perform general accounting duties.
- Perform other duties as may be required from time to time that are commensurate with the position.

**Qualifications**:
- Post-Secondary Education in a relevant field.- Accounting Designation preferred.
- Previous experience in a financial institution preferred.
- Excellent computer skills.
