Located in the heart of Guelph, Cutten Fields offers a blend of outstanding tradition with superior service in Guelph’s only first-class private golf and tennis club.
Established in 1931, Cutten Fields has grown over the years and now offers a year round venue for casual and fine dining, banquets, weddings, social events and various other functions, as well as Golf & Tennis.
We are looking for a Lounge/Banquet Server to join our Food & Beverage Team. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Supervisors, the Lounge/Banquet Server is responsible for serving food and beverages, helping prepare the event space and cleaning up the event space once the affair is complete.
**We are looking for someone to**:
- Serving food and beverage to guests at their tables or at serving stations;
- Pour and refill wine, coffee, water and other beverages as needed;
- Clear dishes;
- Assist in closing functions by removing linens, dishes, taking down tables and re-setting for the next function;
- Consistently follow all food safety related requirements, as well as liquor laws &
- Other duties as required
**The person we are looking for**:
- Is Smart Serve Certified
- Has a positive, passionate attitude
- Has previous serving experience, although not required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Be able to lift 20 lbs.
- Has a flexible schedule - the ability to work days, evenings, weekends & holidays
