Today, Shift Projects brings those same values to a broader audience, redefining the construction industry through universal design principles and a premium, design-led approach. **THIS IS FOR YOU IF YOU ARE**: - Tenacious, trustworthy, honest, hard-working and reliable - Calm, positive, and have a solution-oriented attitude - Committed to personal excellence, driven to succeed with a "can do" attitude - Enjoy a multitude of tasks in a constantly changing work environment - Active and love spending time indoors or outdoors and completing physical tasks - Want to join a young and growing team taking on bigger and better projects - Confident in your skills and enjoy independent problem solving **DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES**: - Complete a variety of renovation tasks including: demolition, framing, finish carpentry, formwork, concrete, and more - Work alongside our Carpentry Team to execute the project with oversight from our Journeyman and Project Manager. - Work and interact with clients while working in their home. - Completing tasks as per the approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high quality standards. - Attend and provide feedback at project meetings with the Project and Operations Managers. - Proactively providing solutions to support ongoing projects. - Support and maintain a healthy, happy work environment and company culture. **SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS**: - Reliable transportation with a valid Driver's License - Pass Vulnerable Sectors Check - Be a 2nd, 3rd, 4th-Year Apprentice or Journeyman Carpenter - Able to connect with people effectively **EMPLOYMENT DETAILS** - This posting is for a full-time position. - 3 weeks of paid vacation - Work with a close-knit team of professionals that love what they do - Health Spending Account **APPLICATION**: Pay: $20.00-$32.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Paid time off Ability to commute/relocate: - Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required) **Experience**: - carpentry: 2 years (required) **Language**: - English (required) Licence/Certification: - Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person
