**Skilled Labourer - Squamish, BC**

VPAC Construction Group is looking for a Skilled Labour to start work immediately on a commercial interior project in Squamish, BC - Flexible schedule. Fork Lift ticket an asset.

**About the Job**:

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and personnel in both written and verbal form
- Familiarity with materials, tools and machinery use
- Performing a range of construction related tasks as assigned and to address scope gaps
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain them in proper operating condition
- To estimate materials required to complete tasks
- Perform all work related to rough carpentry and finish carpentry
- Assist and guide others to improve their skills and complete tasks in an expedient manner
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and positive demeanor while working
- Strong work ethic, reliable and natural attention to detail
- Use your skills to build a high-quality product
- Ensure your work is of the highest quality standards
- Be able to work independently with little supervision

**About You**:

- Previous carpentry and construction experience;
- Equipment operator experience is preferred;
- This job has a requirement to use physical exertion that includes lifting, carrying, climbing ladders and moving materials;
- Previous experience working with multi-family framing and concrete is an asset;
- Valid First Aid certification is an asset, level 2 preferred;
- Must be able to get to and from site
- A current tele-handler (zoom boom) ticket and fall protection certification are assets;
- Takes safety seriously and is mindful of surroundings;
- A positive attitude and ability to work well with others in a team environment;
