**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher/ Prep cook to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This dual role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our food service, ensuring that both food preparation and cleanliness standards are met.
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly.
- Ensure that all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Support the kitchen staff in various tasks as needed, including serving food during peak hours.
- Keep work areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies to facilitate efficient service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and customer satisfaction.
**Skills**
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, showcasing an understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in food service.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus, enhancing customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
