**About Us**

Lucent Technology Inc. is a British Columbia-based IT and communications consulting firm supporting public sector clients. We are preparing to deliver multimedia communications services for a BC Crown corporation and are seeking a **reliable freelance photographer/videographer based in Metro Vancouver** to capture milestone events, with the **potential to contribute to remote editing or design tasks** depending on skillset.

**Role Overview**

**This is an on-call, mobile freelance role. Work is based at various project sites across Metro Vancouver. The Burrard Street address is provided for location reference only — there is no fixed office reporting required.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Attend and capture professional-grade photo/video footage at Metro Vancouver locations
- Deliver raw media promptly via cloud sharing
- Follow brand, composition, and communication standards
- Coordinate with our remote team and project lead as needed

**Optional (Secondary) Responsibilities**
- Edit short-form videos (30-90 sec) or photo sets for web/social use
- Contribute basic graphics or layout support (e.g., social templates, thumbnails)
- Assist remotely when not engaged in local shoots

**Requirements**:

- Must be based in Metro Vancouver with own professional gear (camera, audio, tripod)
- Experience covering public, corporate, or stakeholder-facing events
- Able to reliably transfer media and communicate updates
- Comfortable interacting respectfully with government or agency stakeholders

**Preferred Additional Skills (Not Required)**
- Video editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve)
- Social media content formatting (basic animation, subtitles, cropping)
- Graphic design (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Canva)
