**Trouw Nutrition** is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Westlock, Alberta.

**About The Role**:This position focuses on shipping/receiving, warehouse operations and bagging duties, while also supporting other roles within our production team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Loading trucks via forklift and scanning products
- Inventory counting & control
- Operate machines and computer systems to produce animal feed in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding production targets
- Perform various tasks, including receiving and shipping ingredients and finished feeds
- Maintain documentation for Food Safety and adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards
- Conduct quality checks and perform physical and NIR testing on ingredients and finished products
- Assist in housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Expertise**

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Previous experience in a grain facility, mill or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Forklift experience is required
- Skid steer experience is an asset
- Class 5 driver’s license is an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

**Expectation from the Role**:

- Full-time position with shift work rotation and overtime as required.
- Mon-Fri Shift schedule: Shift hours between 6am-8pm, hours will vary and rotate weekly
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Ability to regularly bend, twist, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions, including loud sounds and dust.
