**What is the role?**

Reporting to the Concrete Superintendent, you will be responsible for placing, finishing, protecting and repairing concrete. Other responsibilities include:

- Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade,
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement,
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete,
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification,
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools,
- Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces,
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.

**What is the role?**
- Minimum 3 years of experience with concrete placing and finishing.
- Experience with concrete, gravel base course, soil-cement.
- Ability to place and finish concrete to desired elevation and finish.
- Experienced with Gomaco concrete laying procedures.
- Experienced with hand crew concrete laying procedures.
