Western Millwork is looking for **a CNC Operator **to join our company.

**$22.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.**

We are a Medium Sized Architectural Woodworking Shop that specializes in Custom Commercial and Residential Projects. We have a very supportive and professional team for new people.

**Job Description**:

- Ability to read & interpret shop drawings and then program set up and run a Biesse Rover CNC to produce custom cabinet parts as required.
- Setup, maintain and safely operate CNC router while ensuring area around machine is kept clean and safe.
- Ability to operate a Biesse end dowelling machine to drill and insert dowels in ends of cabinet parts to align with machining performed on CNC router.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year of direct CNC operation experience.
- Millwork experience would be a definite asset.
- Strong understanding of tooling
- Physically fit and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to switch tasks during the day as required.
- Understanding of various materials used, such as Melamine’s, Veneers, Plastic Laminate, and Solid Woods.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of Metric & Imperial measurements
- Understand and abide by safety protocols and procedures.
