We are looking for a Dishwasher join our dynamic team at Hotel X Toronto.

Newly launched, Valerie, a three-story rooftop concept features 360-degree views of the city, an outdoor all-season pool and a rooftop skybar. Each floor offers a different experience including a sophisticated cocktail bar and attractive live music but streams together under one cohesive Japanese influenced concept.

**What You’ll Do**

Your job responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

- Set up restaurant space and tables to standards upon opening
- Assist host(ess) to bring guests to assigned dining area
- Interact with guests, and answer questions regarding our food and beverage program
- Assess guests’ preferences and make recommendations based on their needs
- Work collaboratively with peers to provide our guests with the highest level of hospitality
- Carrying drinks and food from the kitchen or bar to the tables or bar area
- Operating point of sales terminals and providing checks to guests
- Taking feedback from diners and provide them to management
- Cleaning tables and preparing spaces for future diners
- Setting tables throughout the shift
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Handling cleaning of the dining area at the end of shifts

**What You’ll Need**
- Proven experience as a Dishwasher in a luxury or fast-paced environment
- Experience managing reservations
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends
