Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Student Registrar. The Student Registrar will play a critical role in managing student records, ensuring compliance with academic policies and procedures, and providing exceptional support to students throughout their educational journey. This position requires a strong commitment to accuracy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including enrolment data, grades, and academic transcripts.
- Ensure compliance with academic policies and procedures, and assist in the development and implementation of new policies as needed.
- Oversee course registration processes, including managing course schedules, coordinating with faculty, and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Provide guidance and support to students regarding academic requirements, degree programs, and course selection.
- Collaborate with academic departments and faculty to facilitate timely and accurate grading processes.
- Prepare and distribute official academic transcripts, certifications, and other student-related documentation.
- Coordinate graduation processes, including verifying completion requirements, preparing graduation lists, and organizing commencement ceremonies.
- Respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff regarding student records, academic policies, and procedures in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of Student Orientations
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Admissions and Financial Aid, to ensure smooth transitions for students throughout their academic journey.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices in student record management and academic services.
- Manage the Student CRM software - MyCampusLogin
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related discipline).
- Minimum 2 years working in a diverse working environment, preferably in post-secondary education or student services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate care and empathy
- Conflict-resolution or problem-solving skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Powerpoint or Apple (Pages, Keynote & Numbers)/Google (Sheets, Docs & Slides) equivalents
- Ability to complete tasks under mínimal supervision as well as work as a part of a team or independently with strong time-management skills
- Current Mental Health First Aid and Standard First Aid & CPR-C an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
