**Job Summary**
We are looking for a Technician Assistant to join our team for a full time career opportunity. The technical assistant will be responsible for assisting the diagnostic imaging technologist.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Greets and welcomes patient with appropriate introductions. Prepares patient for procedures, answers questions, confirms patient identification and makes patients feel comfortable.
- Positions patients and equipment to best demonstrate the anatomical area of interest while respecting patient’s physical ability and comfort
- Ensures patient care and workflow is coordinated efficiently
- Monitors supplies and restocks rooms as necessary
**Qualifications**
- Relevant medical imaging experience including exposure to medical imaging workflow and information systems
- Must have phlebotomy certification
- High school diploma
- Phlebotomy certification
- Current CPR certification
- High degree of professionalism and initiative, with the ability to function independently in a position with limited immediate supervision
- Sound organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work well in fast paced, high volume environment
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care, customer service and professionalism
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with patients, families, referring physicians and employees at all levels of the organization
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
