Starboard Transport Inc. is urgently looking for a **Dispatcher** to join our team in Brampton, ON.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying abreast of daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
- Analyze lane data, on-time performance and costs to effectively negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers
- Communicate with brokers, drivers and the customers to resolve any discrepancies
- Verify and troubleshoot any issues in shipping or customs documentation including, but not limited to, PODs, BOL and carrier confirmation.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with dispatching in Transportation industry is an asset
- Experience with shipping and managing customs for FTL and LTL shipments is required
- Familiarity with North American geography
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude to learn new software quickly
- Problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work in a team environment
- Multi-tasker

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
