**This is what you will do**: The Medical Affairs Business Operations Lead reports directly to Head of Medical Affairs Business Planning & Operations (BP&O) and shall be accountable as the Single Points of Contact for their business partners and for the delivery of the key GMA Business Operations Activities: Finance & Accruals, Contracting, HCP/AdBoard engagement, and Performance Management, including operational aspects of the GMA tactical plans, and support to strategic and tactical planning.This individual will work closely with Global Medical Affairs leads, Medical Directors, and Functional Subject Matter Experts and provide feedback to Head of Medical Affairs BP&O about daily operations, activities, deliverables, and assigned responsibilities. She/He will plan and coordinate projects or subprojects under the general direction of the respective Business Stakeholders to which she/he has been assigned.This individual is responsible for aligning medical operations with business needs, strategies and tactics via detailing, including tracking budgets and crosschecking daily actions with higherlevel targets such as brand plans, annual operation plans, strategic imperatives, and other sublevel goals, tactics, and deliverables.This individual will facilitate the crossfunctional preparation, implementation, and facilitation of projects related to internal stakeholder activities in Global Medical Affairs.This individual will also work with the Head of Medical Affairs BP&O in the appropriate plan of action for improvements where needed and to define key activities measures and efficiency metrics.The individual will collaborate with Medical TA in identifying Digital opportunities aligned with tactical plans and works cross functionally for the vendors identification, selection, contracting and on defining the implementation strategy.The Medical Affairs Business Operations Lead may contribute to hiring, onboarding, and mentoring junior associates and or contingent workers. You will be responsible for: Act as the Single Points of Contact for their business partners and for the delivery of the key GMA Business Operations Activities: Finance & Accruals, Contracting, HCP/AdBoard engagement, and Performance Management, including operational aspects of the GMA tactical plans, and support to strategic and tactical planningWorks in close partnership with the Global Medical Teams, understands well the strategy, and contributes to the execution of the Global Medical Tactical plan(s)Ensure tactical implementation plan is in alignment with corporate business goalsEnsures the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project and program plans, budgeting, and tracking of milestones. This includes project schedules/timelines, budgets, and plans for project quality, resources, communications, and tracking resolution of issues, risks and resources.Defines project objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to structure a project or activityMaintains ongoing relationships with global gatekeepers to ensure the current process from exUS countries area followed and properly conducted; this includes working with global compliance on creating operational systems to address any gaps in the process.Coordinates and facilitates meetings.Leads projects to assess organizational needs, capacity management practices, identifies gaps and proposes new processes and tools to improve planning.Integrates onsite into the internal stakeholder environment to effectively lead project teams while building positive professional relationships.Assists with the monitoring, quality assurance, and reporting of project deliverables and presents those findings to key business stakeholders and internal leadership.Lead highlevel, crossfunctional teams across international locationsManage multiple projects simultaneouslyEffectively communicate with Medical Affairs Leadership and team members You will need to have: Bachelors Degree requiredDemonstrated ability to implement projects of strategic importance2+ years of commercial or project management experience within the biopharma industry5+ years of industry experienceExperience managing global projects with team members in multiple locations; particularly in CommercialExperience managing both internal resources and external contractors/vendorsP&L managementDemonstrated success in delivering projects on time with client satisfactionAbility to travel up to 20% of the timeStrong interpersonal skills; fluent and able to influence others in spoken and written EnglishExercises foresight and judgment in making complex decisionsActs independently with good judgement, when neededAnalysis and problem solving leadership skillsFlexibility, the ability to adapt to changing project scope and direction; particularly as projects require strategic thinking and solutionsAbility to professionally interact with all levels of the organizationAbility to maintain confidentiality with sensitive informationMastery of Microsoft Proj
