**Salary**: $28.00/hour plus monthly bonus.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Industrial Millwright/Mechanic certification is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of shop tools (i.e., milling machines, lathes, grinders, drilling machines, welding).
- Knowledge of presses, mills, and packaging equipment is an asset.
- MIG or TIG welding is an asset.
- Industrial and/or commercial electrical experience is an asset.
- Ability to use power tools and manual tools.
- Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and expedite repair.
- Ability to work in a team environment and problem solving.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to carry out tasks on a timely basis.
- Demonstrates the ability to work safely.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate parts from start to finish using semi-finished or raw materials.
- General welding and fabrication knowledge.
- Maintain a variety of mechanical equipment both corrective and preventative maintenance.
- Perform equipment / system improvements as well as research and test new equipment, complete all maintenance record keeping and ensure all related information is available.
- Disassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Complete all other duties as instructed and assigned by Supervisor and Manager.
