Edmonton, Canada O.N.E. Transport Group Full time

**O.N.E. Transport Group**, has openings for couriers to perform deliveries in Edmonton and surrounding areas. Previous courier/delivery experience is an asset but we will consider training an otherwise suitable employee.

**Successful applicant must**:

- Have a valid class 5 license
- Have previous customer service background and a desire to provide an excellent customer experience.
- Be comfortable navigating Range Roads and familiar with towns surrounding Edmonton
- Be in good physical condition and able to lift up to 70 LBS on an occasional basis.
- Possess or be willing to obtain CSA approved safety footwear.
- Ability to provide a three (3) year drivers abstract with no more than 3 demerit points.
- Has a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience
- Be punctual and consistently able to be at work on time
- Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
- Be an experienced and proficient driver able to safely operate delivery vehicles up to 1 Ton cube truck.

**Duties**:

- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle
- Verify the accuracy of packages and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Maintain proper documentation and records of deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

**Skills**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a courier driver or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent knowledge of local roads and routes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision

**Things to note**:

- This is a full-time permanent position, Monday through Friday, generally lasting 45 to 50 hours weekly.
- A full health and dental benefits plan kicks in after you pass probation.
- This is a physically demanding job. The job involves lifting, lowering, and carrying packages outdoors.
- The packages can occasionally weigh up to 70 lbs.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
