**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise day-to-day operations of the optical lab, including lens ordering, edging, and finishing.
- Work closely with front end staff and Opticians to ensure all prescription lenses are fabricated accurately and efficiently according to specifications.
- Manage inventory levels of lenses and lab supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized lab environment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to lens production or equipment.
- Collaborate with opticians and sales staff to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in lens technology.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in an optical lab setting is an asset.
- Proficient in operating lab equipment (edgers, generators, etc.) and software.
- Strong understanding of prescription lenses, coatings, and frame fitting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
