Warehouse Associate - Shipping and Order Fulfillment

North Vancouver, B.C.

Employment position: Full time

Compensation Starting: $18.50/hour

We are a progressive, family run business in North Vancouver, supplying toxin free body care products that are made with certified organic ingredients to health food, grocery and specialty retailers across North America. In order to support our continuing growth, we are seeking dependable individuals with likeminded interests to join our young team

The available opening is for a full-time position, Monday-Friday, between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. In order to meet demand you may be required, from time to time, to work late, or come in early.
Occasionally, weeks may require 30 hours of work time.

Working with the assistance of a manager, day-to-day tasks include:

- Using shipping software to ship parcels worldwide
- Entering shipping details in Excel to coordinate with export schedule
- Organization of paperwork daily
- Keeping regular communication with manager (off site)
- Ordering supplies required for day to day operations
- Inspect and assess returned parcels
- Pack all outgoing orders promptly with the highest level of quality, accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect orders to ensure that packing specifications are met and arrive damage free to the Customer
- Ensure correct paperwork is included with each order to be shipped
- Follow any special packing instructions marked on invoice
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule

- Must be physically fit as heavy lifting and long hours standing are required throughout daily
- Frequently required to stand in one place for extended periods, walk around the facility, stoop, kneel, or crouch, move up and down the ladder and use step stool, and push/pull wheeled carts
