Markham, Canada Box Bus Inc Full time

Box Bus has Immediate openings for full-time or part-time, permanent drivers with a **Minivan or Small Cargo van owner-operators only** for last-mile delivery in Markham and nearby cities. Please note we do not provide vans for you to drive.

This position **requires you to have your own Small Cargo van or Minivan.** (No cars, pickups or SUVs) Ideal vehicles are Transit Connect, Dodge Pro Master Econ, Nissan NV200, Toyota Sienna or Caravan/Montana/Pacifica.
You are driving your own van so N licenses are acceptable.

Deliveries are within Markham and nearby cities, but in one tight, dense zone each day, not all over the place. 6:00 am or 10 am start times, 7-10 hour days. Shifts are available every day of the week. Part-time and Full-time where you customize which days are available.
- Busy days have 80+ stops for $300+/day
- Works out to ~$30-40/hour, more for top performers.
- Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.

**Requirements**:

- Safety Vest (Class 2) (100% Mandatory at Warehouse, not on road, but I advise wearing a vest while delivering.)
- Must provide a vehicle for the work. Minivan or Light, small cargo van.
- Winter / All-Weather Tires (Not All-Season October-April)
- Can safely get in and out of your van multiple times a day.
- Have a smartphone with a data plan.
- Have a valid (standard license for cars) driver's license.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Excellent English communication skills.

**Preferred**:

- 1+ year of courier experience in the GTA.
- Customer service background.
- A can-do attitude.
- Time management skills.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 8-56 per week

**Salary**: $250.00-$350.00 per day
