Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor.-** Qualifications and Abilities**:

- Applicants must be a minimum age of 19 years of age, have a current Nova Scotia Operator’s License Class 2B with air brake endorsement.
- Clean driving record and up-to date medical and vision tests.
- Applicants should possess good communication skills and demonstrate reliability and high moral conduct.
-** Responsibilities**:

- Supports operations in the Kings County area.
- Responsible for safe and orderly transportation of students with disabilities on assigned route.
- Operating seventy-two passenger school buses with air brakes on assigned routes and extracurricular trips.
- Responsibility for safety and discipline of passengers.
- Daily routine maintenance including cleaning, washing and pre-trip inspections of the vehicle.
**Training in basic First Aid/CPR and experience operating a school bus on all kinds of roads and during all weather conditions is required.
