**Housekeeping/ Laundry Supervisor**

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the CAO, this position is responsible for ensuring that all of the housekeeping and laundry requirements of BDSHA are met. This Position is full time with duties split between administration (0.2-0.4 FTE) and working as a member of the housekeeping team (0.8-0.6 FTE) to ensure a high quality of service is provided at all times.

- Must be Pleasant, Honest, and Sincere.
- Must be Bondable and obtain a criminal record check
- Must keep affairs of the Association confidential
- Must have excellent knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals and housekeeping equipment.
- Should have solid knowledge of all best practices and protocols in regard to all surface cleaning and outbreak management.
- Individual must possess computer skills, especially knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the housekeeping and laundry services of the lodges and the self-contained buildings that BDSHA Manages in Barrhead.
- Organization, scheduling, and supervision of housekeeping and laundry staff.
- Ensure that all applicable lodge accommodation and standards are adhered to.
- Coordinate all cleaning schedules, including annual and move-in/move-outs
- Training of the housekeeping staff and casuals.
- Coordinating holidays and scheduling of housekeeping services in accordance with Employee Handbook.
- Responsible for ensuring that housekeeping department adheres to BDSHA safety policies.
- Inventory, ordering, control, and storage of all housekeeping supplies, linens, and tools.
- Participates as part of the staff team to ensure that a high standard of services is provided for the residents.
- Provides ongoing evaluations and inspections of housekeeping services.
- Participates in addressing Risk Management issues.
- Other duties assigned by the CAO.
