We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and laundry
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
- Provide assistance with dementia care and memory support
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of care

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in senior care, home care, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities is required
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is necessary
- Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- PIC with vulnerable sector search is required
- First Aid/CPR is required

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 hours weekly

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- PIC
- HCA certification
- First Aid/CPR
